Regional hubs available in Chicagoland, Greater Houston, or the Greater Atlanta Area (with regional travel to automated manufacturing sites)
Compensation:
$120,000
  • $160,000+ Base (Commensurate with experience; plus-ups available for an absolute superstar)

What You Will Be Doing:
The Master Understudy:
Partner closely with our premier technical expert to master advanced linear and circumferential programming, multi-layer material distribution, and remote process optimization.
Hands-On Optimization:
Spend time on the production floor actively diving into the machines to refine processing parameters, troubleshoot complex cycles, and maximize efficiency.
Control Systems Architecture:
Drive the programming, troubleshooting, and navigation of PLCs to seamlessly manage wall-thickness, material distribution, and weight-efficiency in advanced hollow-part molding.
Multi-Site Support:
Act as the technical SWAT team supporting multiple regional plants, ensuring mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems are running flawlessly.
The Ideal Profile:
We are looking for an early-to-mid-career professional with a strong foundational drive who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
The Core Requirement:
A rock-solid background in technical blow molding or heavy-gauge hollow-part plastics processing is absolute.
The PLC Differentiator:
You must possess strong, practical PLC programming and troubleshooting knowledge. If you can navigate code, diagnose faults, and adjust logic on the fly, you are who we are looking for.
The Mechanical Grit:
Deep familiarity with the intricacies of material purging, flexible tooling, hydraulics, pneumatics, and multi-layer polymer extrusion (such as EVOH, Nylon, or PCR blends).
