- :•Ethically and scientifically provides materials analysis and investigatory analysis and consultation through the Milwaukee Materials and Engineering Laboratory.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS andRESPONSIBILITIES
- + Designs and implements laboratory maintenance, calibration, and quality programs; prepares and maintains the lab for artifact inspections, and partners in the operation performed during multi-party artifact inspections.

- + Performs other duties as assigned. + Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Licensing
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Experience
- Eight (8) years of related experience, to include six (6) years of material analysis/failure analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience giving expert witness testimony preferred.

- + Proficiency in the use hand and power tools + Analytical and interpretive skills + Attention to detail and accuracy + Ability to work independently or as team member or leader + Good judgment and discretion skills + Understanding of root cause analysis and scientific methodology + Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills + Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities + Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and client-communications + PC literate, including Microsoft Office products + Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports + Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies •
