Requirements B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university. 7+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering - preparation and development of mechanical design deliverables. Knowledge of the need, application, and specification of safety valves and devices needed to maintain mechanical integrity of the piping systems. Understanding of interdisciplinary coordination and EPC workflows. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers. Professional Engineering (PE) registration is highly preferred. Review vendor and interdisciplinary drawings for mechanical input. Review fabrication drawings for conformance to engineered drawings and specifications. Ensure designs are efficient, constructible, and meet client expectations. Check calculations and designs for accuracy and compliance with code specifications and for conformance with good engineering standards.
