$84,000 - $140,000 In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks Hardware Engineers to support our rapidly growing engineering work on Ground Missile Defense (GMD) Weapons Systems. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The work is performed on-site at our customer site in Huntsville, AL. Work schedule - Flex 4/10 Schedule or Flex 9/80 w/every other Friday off - or a straight 5/8. Qualified candidates must have an active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance. Basic Qualifications Must be a US citizen Must have an active DoD secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related STEM Degree Minimum 5 years of experience 4 years of recent design experience using a 3D CAD Package such as SolidWorks, Creo, or NX Experience drafting & reviewing 2D mechanical drawings per ASME standards. Prior experience with engineering PLM systems such as Teamcenter and MRP system such as SAP. Experience in evaluating vendor documents to ensure specifications and datasheet meets requirements. Experience evaluating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and military parts for compliance to meet requirements Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Team, and PowerPoint. Desired Qualifications Understanding and application of industry engineering technical standards; demonstrated experience in structural design and impact assessments. Experience with Agile or Kanban workflow, including tools such as Jira Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
