Tallassee, Alabama job type: Permanent salary: $109,000 - 119,500 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Lead the development and introduction of new mechanical designs into high-volume production.

Engineer complex injection-molded thermoplastic parts and sand-cast metal components.

Define precise machining requirements and specifications for both metal and plastic materials.

Design and optimize stamped sheet metal parts for durability and manufacturability.

Utilize advanced 3D CAD modeling (CREO preferred) to architect mechanical systems and assemblies.

Oversee the creation and rigorous checking of ANSI standard engineering drawings.

Establish comprehensive product test plans and specifications to validate design integrity.

Engineer specialized housing and protection solutions for electronic assemblies in harsh outdoor environments.

Mentor and lead junior engineers, actively sharing technical knowledge to elevate team performance.

Manage existing product designs to identify and implement continuous performance enhancements.
