Mechanical Engineer Sr Job Description You will be the Manufacturing Tooling Design Engineer Sr for our team, joining the tool design team in the design and development of manufacturing tooling and equipment. Our team is responsible for creating cost-effective solutions for internal customers and promoting continuous improvement of design, fabrication, and implementation processes for tooling. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Tooling Design Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for managing team priorities, ensuring effective communication among design team and internal customers, and applying knowledge of manufacturing processes to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/combined education
- Ability to interpret complex drawing requirements
- General manufacturing process knowledge
- Proficiency with
ASME Y14.5
- Proficiency with PTC Creo or equivalent
- Experience with assembly modeling and creating detailed drawing views of assemblies
- Experience with machine/tooling/equipment setup, troubleshooting, and proofing
- This facility requires special access so all candidates must be US Citizens.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. National Pay Statement Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500- $150,765.

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $98,300- $170,315.
