Clarificion from the agency (1) Arkansas Army Nional Guard (AR ARNG) Technicians; (2) All members of the AR ARNG, (3) Individuals who are not members of the Nional Guard but who are eligible to acquire membership in an available and compible military grade for excepted technician positions. (Upon selection, must be a member of the AR Army Nional Guard). Duties Help (1) Operes one or more types of heavy equipment to push, pull, pile or load merials such as sand, gravel, earth or refuse. The operor uses such equipment as bucket loaders, bulldozers or cerpillars, road scrapers or other similar types of machinery. The work is usually done on fl or rolling terrain or construction sites with simple terrain problems. (2) May opere gasoline or diesel powered dump trucks or truck tractors with trailer or semitrailer coupled by use of a turntable or pintle hook. The vehicles may be equipped with multiple speed transmissions having two or more ranges and two or more driving wheels and air brake connections between truck and trailer. (3) Must maintain a current government vehicle driver's license to opere the above equipment and trucks. (4) Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

Upon selection, must complete mandory Full-Time Support (FTS) Training the Professional Educion Center (PEC) within six months of assignment (if applicable, training coordined by the supervisor). Individual must meet all military requirements of the position without creing a grade inversion, as determined by the Human Resources Office (HRO). Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (Grade Inversion). Enlisted members currently a higher grade than allowed by the position (see Military Grade Requirement above) may apply; however, they must administrively reduce prior to appointment and provide confirmion of the reduction to

Qualificions

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Work involves the operion of gasoline or diesel-powered engineering and construction equipment with wheeled or crawler-type traction, such as graders, tractors with bulldozer or angle-dozer blades, front-end loaders, backhoes, trench diggers, and large industrial tractors with pan or scrapper tachments. This equipment is used to perform such functions as cutting, moving, digging, grading, and rolling earth, sand, stone, and other merials, and to maintain ditches, road shoulders and beds and firelines.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

: Experience or training opering heavy engineer equipment and performing operor maintenance on equipment such as bulldozers, angle dozers, front-end loaders, and other similar type equipment. Experience or training in opering one or more types of heavy engineer equipment in close proximities and on various types of terrain. Experience assisting lower graded operors in complex operion or maintenance of equipment.
