Job Description

Job Title:
Electro Mechanical EngineerJob Description The role involves performing engineering work to design, validate, develop, and bring new designs to production. This includes the design of LED luminaries, indoor lighting, and horticulture lighting. Responsibilities + Design and develop new products using Solidworks and AutoCAD. + Create designs for LED luminaries, indoor lighting, and horticulture lighting. + Interpret and apply relevant standards to the design process. + Generate schematics and gerber files using appropriate software. + Design with injection molded plastic, die cast, and sheet metal. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements. + Participate in new product introduction ( NPI ) processes and testing. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Solidworks software for designing and rendering. + Experience in product design with at least 5 years in general or 3 years specific to the lighting field. + Ability to interpret industry standards. + Knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Engineering Degree (BE, ME, or EE). + Knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft and MAS 500. + Familiarity with UL and IEC standards. + CSWP Certification. Work Environment The work environment is a blend of office-based design and engineering work with interaction with manufacturing and operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00
  • $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
