This role will be responsible for the design, analysis, and coordination of electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and institutional projects. The ideal candidate will have experience designing power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems within an A/E consulting environment. Responsibilities Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documents. Perform electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and code compliance reviews. Develop plans using Revit and AutoCAD. Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, owners, and contractors. Attend project meetings and participate in multidisciplinary design coordination. Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction. Conduct site visits and support construction administration activities. Ensure designs comply with NEC, local codes, and industry standards. Assist in mentoring junior engineers and designers. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in the A/E consulting industry. Experience designing building electrical systems for commercial and institutional projects. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. EIT certification preferred; PE license is a plus #
