Principal R D Engineer Entegee - 3.7 Tempe, AZ Job Details Contract $60 - $80 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Statistical Process Control Minitab Bachelor's degree Technology transfer (scale-up process) Chemistry Semiconductor experience Research & development Full Job Description Seeking a Principal Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and transfer wafer-based manufacturing processes into high-volume production for semiconductor products in development.
Must-Have Skills:
PVD Metal Deposition / Thin Film Deposition Photolithography Design of Experiments (DOE) / Process Development Wafer fabrication process development or manufacturing experience
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize wafer fabrication processes, including thin-film deposition and patterned layer processing. Design and execute experiments to improve process capability, yield, and reliability. Perform equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), process validations, and statistical analyses. Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and support manufacturing operations. Define process controls, metrology methods, tooling, and high-volume manufacturing strategies. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure process compatibility and manufacturability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years. Experience with semiconductor wafer fabrication and process transfer to manufacturing.
Preferred:
MEMS or microfabrication experience. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, DRM/DFSS, Minitab, or JMP. Experience with automation, machine vision, and metrology tools. Advanced degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field. #
GRPA Pay:
