This is a high-impact engineering role focused on thin film / PVD metal deposition, photolithography, wafer fabrication, process development, DOE, and manufacturing transfer . The ideal candidate is a hands-on process engineer with strong technical depth in wafer fabrication and the ability to develop robust, cost-effective, high-volume manufacturing processes. This person will work closely with design, development, equipment, quality, and manufacturing teams to improve process capability, troubleshoot yield issues, and help advance next-generation wafer-based technologies. What You'll Do Develop, optimize, and transfer wafer-based manufacturing processes into production. Support wafer fabrication processes, including patterned polymer or organic layer deposition, metal deposition, photolithography, and process output monitoring. Lead experiments to establish stable, repeatable, and scalable manufacturing processes. Apply Design of Experiments, statistical methods, and data-driven process development to improve performance, yield, and process capability. Define equipment needs, tooling requirements, operator interactions, metrology strategies, process controls, and production design rules. Support equipment qualifications, process characterization, operational qualification, performance qualification, process validation, and gage

activities. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, process, and yield-related manufacturing issues. Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology target specifications. Partner with product design and development teams to ensure product requirements are compatible with manufacturing processes. Review product development requirements to evaluate manufacturability, cost, scalability, and schedule impact. Generate and maintain documentation in compliance with quality system and regulatory requirements. Help establish long-term high-volume manufacturing strategies for wafer-based processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree , or 5 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree . Experience with wafer fabrication processes , including equipment/process development or manufacturing operations. Strong background in process development and manufacturing transfer. Hands-on experience with PVD metal deposition / thin film deposition . Experience with photolithography . Experience using Design of Experiments / DOE , statistical methods, and data analysis to support process development and improvement. Preferred Qualifications Experience with microfabrication or MEMS processes, including photolithography, thin film deposition, patterning, and related wafer processing techniques. Experience taking a process from concept through manufacturing transfer. Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Ability to program, run, and troubleshoot automated equipment, machine vision systems, and automated metrology tools. Experience with DRM, DFSS, Lean Sigma, or Green Belt / Black Belt Lean Sigma certification. Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, or similar platforms . Advanced degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
