Position Title:
High-Pressure Fluids Test Operations Engineer
Position Description:
Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct-hire High-Pressure Fluids Test Operations Engineer opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and execute high-pressure gas operations including hydrogen handling and safety. Operate and maintain fluid systems for projectile, test stand, and launcher testing. Support the design and build of gas systems, test fixtures, and instrumentation. Collaborate on payload user guide development and testing protocols. Integrate instrumentation into projectile and test articles. Correlate simulation data with test results to validate models and tune designs. Maintain logs, test plans, and safety documentation for all operations.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred. 2-5 years experience in a hands-on test, operations, or R D setting. Experience with high-pressure gas/fluid systems in excess of 500 psi in large volumes (hydrogen a strong plus). Familiarity with instrumentation, DAQ systems, and sensor calibration. Exposure to hydrogen safety, rocket test, or propulsion lab environments a bonus. Strong organizational and executional skills, including documentation and planning. Passion for learning, problem solving, and working as part of a fast-moving team.
