CAD Designer / Mechanical Engineer - Woodworking Tooling & Cutter Head Design We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer or Mechanical Engineer to join our team specializing in the design and development of woodworking tooling, cutter heads, and machinery. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys precision mechanical design, solving manufacturing challenges, and developing high-performance tooling and machinery solutions. Responsibilities Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings Develop concepts for production efficiency, durability, balance, and performance Work closely with machining, manufacturing, and production teams Revise and improve existing tooling designs Assist with prototyping, testing, and product development Qualifications Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD software Mechanical engineering or advanced CAD design background preferred Experience designing rotating tooling, cutter heads, precision mechanical components, or industrial equipment Understanding of machining, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes Ability to create production-ready drawings and assemblies Strong problem-solving and communication skills Self-motivated and detail-oriented Preferred Experience Woodworking tooling or machinery experience CNC machining knowledge Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Opportunity for long-term growth and product development involvement To Apply Please send: Resume Portfolio or examples of CAD/design work Brief summary of relevant experience
