The Boeing Company is actively seeking an Experienced Mechanical Liaison Engineer to support Satellite Assembly, Integration, & Test at our El Segundo site. At Boeing, our Production Engineering teams have the unique opportunity to support the fabrication and assembly for the next generation of Air Force Trainers, Bombers and Tactical fighter aircraft, Autonomous Air Vehicles, rotorcraft, advanced airborne sensors, space vehicles, satellites, weapons systems, the commercial fleet of single and twin aisle airplanes and much more.
Position Responsibilities:
Participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Foresee and prevent potential conflicts and risks associated with successful completion of work tasks / jobs. Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts. Develop detailed, clear, and accurate deployment procedures to ensure safe and efficient execution of deployment activities. Provide technical and operational support during satellite lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Verify and document critical clearances to prevent interference or damage during deployment and lifting operations. Compile and present comprehensive material review packages that include all necessary documentation, specifications, and compliance information. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 5+ years of related engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing Experience with root cause analysis and creating preliminary and material review dispositions Experience analyzing complex manufacturing issues and providing innovative solutions Experience with PTC CREO and Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 7+ years of related work experience or a combination of experience and education in satellite manufacturing Experience with developing and executing deployment procedures

Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the
USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary Pay Range:
