This role focuses on rapid prototyping, low-volume manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering support to accelerate product development and innovation Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience. Technical training in soldering, trade school, or on-the-job training preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation. Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and general computer applications. Experience using assembly tools including soldering irons, crimpers, cutters, torque tools, and pin insertion/removal tools. Hands-on lab experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and electronic test equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience supporting product development teams in low-volume manufacturing environments. IPC-610, IPC-620, and/or
J-STD-001
certification preferred. Key Responsibilities Assemble, inspect, test, and troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical prototypes and low-volume production hardware. Support engineers in product development, process improvements, and assembly solutions. Perform quality inspections and final product testing according to established procedures. Follow detailed work instructions while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet project schedules and deliverables. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe laboratory work environment. Work independently on routine assignments with minimal supervision. The hiring team is specifically seeking candidates to provide: 4+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience Prototyping experience Ability to interpret engineering drawings Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes
