Principal Mechanical Engineer | Surgical Electromechanical Systems | Union City, CA We're supporting a highly visible engineering opportunity with a market leader in specialty surgical systems and patient positioning platforms used across spine and orthopedic procedures. This is NOT a standard CAD-focused mechanical role. The team is seeking a highly hands-on, systems-oriented mechanical engineer with deep experience in electromechanical hardware, articulated mechanisms, motion systems, structural assemblies, and physician/patient-facing medical platforms. You'll work on: ? Surgical positioning systems ? Electromechanical motion assemblies ? Actuators, drive systems & mechanisms ? Structural patient-support hardware ? NPI & manufacturing optimization ? Product improvement & sustaining engineering ?
