This role is initially set for a period of 4-6 months, with the possibility of extension based on internal factors and year-end activities. There is also potential for transition into a direct hire position, contingent on strong performance. Responsibilities Utilize SolidWorks for design work, including 3D renderings, 2D drawings, and drafting. Apply GD&T experience in mechanical design tasks. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure project success. Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities. Participate in project management and contribute to the development of fluid systems. Essential Skills Proficiency in SolidWorks, including CAD design, 3D renderings, and 2D drawings. Strong experience with GD&T and mechanical design principles. A minimum of four years of relevant experience in the field. Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally within an organization. Additional Skills & Qualifications Formal engineering degree is preferred but experienced senior designers will be considered. Experience with AS9100 standards and project management is advantageous. Flexibility and adaptability in problem-solving and design approach. Work Environment The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring adaptability and effective collaboration across departments. The role involves working with advanced design technologies and requires a detail-oriented approach to ensure precision in mechanical and electromechanical designs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fullerton, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $67.00/hr.
