Job Location:
Irvine, CA Responsibilities:
Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types. Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics. Creating Material Requests. Forecast future needs based on project start dates. Ensure proper tracking of all components. Monitor all equipment expenditures. Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment. Equipment Procurement & Optimization. Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance. Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
MUST HAVE SKILLS
(Most Important): Adaptability to manage changing and competing priorities in evolving situations. Excellent verbal, written, and analytical communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in project planning and time management. Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and delivering results on time.
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience in equipment, construction, or A&E design. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering construction principles. Familiarity with telecommunications facilities design and construction plans. Understanding of AC utility power, electrical switchgear, DC and AC equipment power distribution, cooling, generators, and aisle containment. Knowledge and experience in 5G deployment.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Finance. Master's degree (MS/MA/MBA) preferred but not required. Proficient in Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office) applications, including Google Sheets (or Excel) data analysis features. Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
