About the role We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join us on the ground floor, with runway for huge and immediate impact. What you'll do Work on end-to-end design and manufacturing of parts and sub-assemblies Fabricate prototypes, iterate rapidly, advance your concepts through to high volume production Develop specifications and accelerated test plans to validate the product for its determined lifetime Component-level testing for performance, durability, reliability, and variability Complete and release component designs and documentation, including 2D drawings Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts to create a cohesive and balanced product Establish relationships with vendors, suppliers, and CMs in a startup environment What we look for Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent Professional mechanical design engineering experience on a product (preferably B to C) that is shipping in high volume Understanding of materials and high-volume manufacturing methods such as Injection Molding Proficiency in using Solidworks modeling 3D CAD design software Comfort with PDM, PLM and Engineering Change Management and Quality Management systems Knowledge of GD&T, finite element analysis and design for reliability concepts Comfort with fast-paced, startup atmosphere - you don't shy away from the hard work High level of maturity, ownership, and pride in your work We'd love to hear from you if... Compensation:

Base:

$120,000 - $200,000 per annum. Actual Compensation will depend on skills, experience and qualifications. Base Salary is one part of the total compensation package. The role is also eligible for equity through the company's discretionary equity program, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage access to a 401(k) plan.
