Job Description:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering a plus; no formal degree required At least years of 5 years of design experience for complex electromechanical systems. Semiconductor equipment design experience highly preferred. Creo/Pro-e (required) Thermal modeling, cooling, and hear transfer knowledge is required Previous experience with precision design for tightly tolerances components, especially optomechanical subsystems and components Experience in conducting various analysis, such as fluid, thermal, vibrational, and FEA modeling Ability to create supporting documentation for designs such as Bill of Materials (BOMs), fabrication drawings, etc.
Responsibilities:
Under support of Senior Engineer, contribute to design, build, prototype testing the next generation broad band plasma (BBP) Wafer inspection opto-mechanical assemblies Develop tooling and test fixtures for testing of prototypes Collaborate development with core suppliers Work with system, optical, electrical and software engineer to derive the subsystem requirements and conduct design reviews Thermal & structural simulation of designs Qualify and release the mechanism design, provide support for onsite manufacturing
