Job Description
Test Engineering Technician (6 month contract) Engineering technicians will play an instrumental role in the success of Lunar Energy by helping to build and test all of our key hardware products in a lab environment. We're looking for someone to be both hands-on with our products as well as a leader to shape and manage a growing technician organization. We're a fast-growing, global company building the world's best clean energy products to electrify all homes and connect communities to form clean, resilient virtual power plants. On a given day at Lunar, you'll likely: Support engineering prototype builds of complex electromechanical assemblies. Perform troubleshooting on circuits, down to device level, in collaboration with the EE team. Perform soldering, mechanical assembly, and fabrication of simple test boxes and cables Perform system and equipment level testing per Engineering direction Experience with prototype builds, test, and fixture builds Experience with CAD work and software such as Shape, Solid works Prepare test articles and support post-test product tear-downs in collaboration with reliability and test teams. Feedback on product performance/inadequacies to Engineering Evaluate technician requirements and support the build-out of the Lunar technician organization. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment throughout builds and engineering tests. Safely manage materials and equipment
Desired Skills:
Associate degree in Electronics, or similar, and/or 5 years of experience in the field 5+ years of experience working in an R&D or development lab environment in close collaboration with engineering staff. Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting You are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, consistently take the initiative to get things done, and do things before being asked by others. Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity; balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness Some Production support experience, software development experienceBenefits:

The hourly range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is $35-$75 USD The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company's sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
