Job Description

The Opportunity A respected, design-focused architecture studio in Pasadena is seeking a Project Architect to support a growing pipeline of K-12, higher education, and community-driven projects across Southern California. This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects early, working closely with leadership in a collaborative, hands-on environment. The firm is known for its strong client relationships, thoughtful approach to community-focused design, and commitment to long-term team growth. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day execution of projects from design through construction Lead project documentation, coordination, and technical development Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors Oversee smaller to mid-scale projects with increasing autonomy Support construction administration and project delivery Collaborate closely with firm leadership and internal teams Qualifications Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure 4-8+ years of professional experience Experience in K-12, higher education, civic, or municipal projects DSA experience is highly preferred, but not required Strong proficiency in Revit Proven ability to manage project coordination and documentation Why This Role Opportunity to take ownership of projects and grow into a leadership role Stable, close-knit team with strong retention and supportive leadership Meaningful, community-focused project portfolio (education, civic, public sector) Direct exposure to clients and decision-making Long-term growth potential within a collaborative environment Additional Notes Strong preference for candidates based in or near the Pasadena / greater LA area In-office, highly collaborative studio culture Immediate need due to active project pipeline Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Geotechnical Engineer•Project Manager
