Job Description One of our top design engineering partners is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support their Southern California offices (San Diego, Orange County, or Los Angeles). As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects, from small to large, providing plumbing design. You will represent the Firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members. Mechanical Design Engineer with experience with one of the following markets or a combination of Commercial, Institutional, Healthcare, and Aviation as well as experience in Large Infrastructure Design. In addition to your engineering experience, to succeed in this role, you will need a solid knowledge of systems design for various projects with the ability to communicate design concepts via sketches and renderings.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare calculations, reports, and specifications
- Perform fire suppression system selection and develop preliminary designs and performance specifications
- Support facility assessments, sustainability analyses, and feasibility studies
- Produce drawings aligned with client requirements and standards
- Provide engineering support to senior team members
- Apply knowledge of mechanical/plumbing systems, building codes, and construction documents

- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing Design field
- Experience with the latest version of AutoCAD-MEP, and REVIT
- Active California EIT Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Accredited Institution
- Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) Certification
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
