• Seasonal Employee Zmicro is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering assistant for a Seasonal Employee opportunity.

This position is ideal for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in engineering, design support, and project execution within a fast-paced technical environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Mechanical Engineering Assistant will support engineering and project teams with technical documentation, reviews, data analysis, and process improvement activities. The employee will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects while developing practical industry experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist engineering and project teams with technical design and documentation creation using SolidWorks, AutoCAD and related engineering tools. Participate in reviewing project specifications and design documentation. Collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders to help ensure project accuracy and schedule adherence. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues through analytical problem-solving.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Strong academic standing preferred. Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within team environments. Eagerness to learn and contribute in a professional engineering setting.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Exposure to manufacturing or engineering project environments. Experience reviewing technical drawings or engineering documentation. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Salary Range:

$21.00
