The Role:
Position available open to Mechanical Engineer with creative and analytical mind. Requires strong mechanical problem-solving skills and an aptitude for developing quality engineering solutions. The position requires a dynamic and multifunction individual who is knowledgeable of full-cycle engineering/manufacturing processes. He/she will work together in a team, engineering the products and be the overall liaison between the in-house manufacturing team. This person should have general engineering expertise and be open to collaborate in a team environment.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Strong analytical skills 3+ years of related work experience Proficient in SolidWorks Preferred Qualifications Precision engineering and manufacturing experience Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation preferably with ANSYS software experience Manufacturing experience and knowledge of CAM tools Solid understanding of vacuum components, material properties and machine design Thermal analysis experience Structural analysis experience CFD analysis experience (ANSYS Fluent preferred) Skilled in documenting activities and maintaining records Good understanding of standards and geometric tolerancing Ability to manage time, resources and vendors Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing
