The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing complex electro-mechanical assemblies, including enclosures and chassis for high-performance electronic products.

Month Contract Pay Range :
$75-80 /hr This role involves full-cycle mechanical design from concept through production, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems for electronic products, including enclosures, chassis, and internal structures Create 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using Creo or Siemens NX Apply GD&T principles and perform tolerance stack-up and analysis Develop designs using sheet metal, plastic, and die-cast components Collaborate with electrical and PCB teams for mechanical integration (IDF/ECAD coordination) Support design reviews and resolve manufacturing and field issues Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure DFM/DFA compliance Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, EMI, thermal, and safety requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 7+ years of experience in mechanical design of electronic or electromechanical systems Strong experience with Creo or NX CAD tools Expertise in sheet metal, plastics, and die-cast design Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis Experience working with
PCB/ECAD
integration and mechanical packaging Background in high-volume or production-level hardware design Preferred Experience Experience in networking, data center, or enterprise hardware products Familiarity with enclosure design for electronic systems or chassis-based products Experience supporting manufacturing ramp-up and tooling processes Strong problem-solving skills in cross-functional engineering environments
