Position:
Mechanical Engineer Job summary As a full-time Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for designing mechanical and electromechanical products and systems. You will track projects from the conceptual stage through to completion, considering quality, budgeting, and operational concerns. You will report directly to the General Manager. Responsibilities/daily tasks Applying principles of mechanics, hydraulics and heat transfer of materials Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods Develops and evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by collecting, analyzing and summarizing customer requirements and industry trends Ensures system and product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and system capabilities, and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes Upholds product and company reputation by complying with government regulations Maintains engineering and CAD database through proper revision control Completes projects by training and guiding coworkers Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests Supports the company's quality policy and objectives by developing new products in alignment with strategic goals Conducting design review meetings, updating the project management system Qualifications B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 7 years of experience - REQUIRED Core Competencies Design and conceptual skills critical Knowledge in designing plastic injection molded parts Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting technical information Knowledge of SolidWorks CAD software Benefits Fit-Line offers competitive wages and benefits for eligible employees, including: Medical, dental, vision insurance plans Vacation, sick and [paid] holidays time Company Contribution to Retirement Savings Plan Short/Long Term Disability Insurance' '
