BART MANUFACTURING, INC.
is a growing engineering and manufacturing company specializing in custom automation, aluminum framing systems, welded structures, CNC machining, control systems, and turnkey manufacturing solutions. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems and wants to play a meaningful role in the design and execution of custom equipment and manufacturing projects. This position is well suited for an engineer who is hands-on, adaptable, and motivated by variety. Our projects move quickly and often require practical problem solving, collaboration across departments, and the ability to balance design with manufacturability. Responsibilities Design mechanical systems, assemblies, fixtures, and custom equipment Create 3D models, fabrication drawings, assemblies, and bills of material Collaborate with machining, welding, assembly, and engineering teams throughout project execution Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement Research customer requirements and develop practical manufacturing solutions Manage schedules, documentation, and multiple active projects simultaneously Provide technical guidance and support to assembly personnel as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field preferred Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanical design principles Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability Preferred Experience Manufacturing, automation, robotics, or custom equipment experience Experience with aluminum extrusion systems Experience creating fabrication and assembly drawings Hands-on fabrication, machining, or mechanical assembly exposure Internship, co-op, Formula SAE, robotics, or similar practical engineering experience Why BART?
