Job Description

Job Title:
Mechanical Engineer Overview This role offers an opportunity for an entry‑level Mechanical Engineer to support a Facilities and Engineering team within a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical environment. The position focuses on creating and maintaining architectural and MEP drawings that support the design, construction, and validation of complex facility systems. Key Responsibilities
  • Create, update, and maintain architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings using AutoCAD
  • Convert engineer redlines, sketches, and markups into accurate CAD drawings
  • Perform field walk‑downs to verify existing conditions
  • Implement drawing revisions and maintain version control per GMP practices
  • Support as‑built documentation following installation and field verification
  • Coordinate with engineering, facilities, construction, and validation teams
  • Ensure drawings meet pharmaceutical, cleanroom, and utility standards
  • Follow GDP and documentation control procedures Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Hands‑on AutoCAD 2D drafting experience
  • Understanding of MEP systems and engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with GMP and GDP requirements in regulated environments
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Experience
  • Drafting experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated facilities
  • AutoCAD 3D or Revit/BIM exposure
  • HVAC, cleanroom, or clean utility system experience
  • Process piping or facility construction project support Work Environment
  • Onsite role in a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical facility
  • Work in controlled environments, including cleanrooms (ISO 6-7)
  • Requires adherence to gowning and aseptic procedures as needed
  • Collaborative team environment supporting high‑impact healthcare projects Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Centennial, CO.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
