Job Description
Pre-Engineering Program Details Introduce you to the practical aspects of engineering and how our disciplines work together to complete projects with excellence.
Contribute to the creation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on project progress.
Assist in the evaluation and testing of materials, components, and systems.
Exposure to all of the Engineering disciplines within the company to obtain a general understanding of each Engineering discipline and how they function.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Prepare and present reports on project status, research findings, and technical issues.
Assist in the inspection and testing of on-site installations and systems.
Develop skills in project management, communication, and technical writing.

We are seeking a motivated and talented Engineering Intern to join our team for a hands-on learning experience at Samuel Engineering, Inc. This intern-to-hire opportunity is part of the Samuel Academy Internship Program (SAIP) and is designed for college juniors entering their senior year, as well as new graduates who are pursuing or have recently obtained a degree in Engineering. Our program offers the chance to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting, gain valuable industry experience, and transition into a full-time position after graduation.Key Responsibilities:
Project Support:
Assist in the design and basic tasks of engineering projects.Contribute to the creation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on project progress.
Research and Analysis:
Perform calculations and simulations to support design decisions.Assist in the evaluation and testing of materials, components, and systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to complete assigned tasks.Exposure to all of the Engineering disciplines within the company to obtain a general understanding of each Engineering discipline and how they function.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Prepare and present reports on project status, research findings, and technical issues.
Site Visits:
Participate in site visits to gain practical experience and insight into project implementation.Assist in the inspection and testing of on-site installations and systems.
Professional Development:
Engage in continuous learning through workshops, training sessions, and mentorship from experienced engineers.Develop skills in project management, communication, and technical writing.
