Design Engineer The Design Engineer will have the responsibility of designing, developing and releasing assemblies for sales purposes, while working within the design team atmosphere. They will work directly with the sales managers and other design engineers using 3D Modeling Software, primarily Autodesk Inventor. Generate technical drawings based off sketches, templates, prototypes, documents, or descriptions of products. Interface with the CAD system to provide necessary modeling and detailing support for existing and new assemblies and sub-assemblies. Must have experience with mechanical detailing and be able to interpret engineering drawings and develop 3D CAD models and 2D CAD drawings. Ability to generate Bill of Material in the manufacturing system. Responsible for back checking own work to minimize rework. Work with various departments supplying and verifying necessary data for producing acceptable products. Provide assistance to other team personnel on drafting standards, engineering practices. Meticulous attention to detail, organized, punctual, respectful, and self-motivated. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements Associate, bachelor's or master's degree (Engineering) 3
D Modeling Software:
minimum 3 year Excellent oral and written communication skills Must have strong research and organizational skills Background or understanding of basic product design. Must be a team player following design team standards as well as independently driven to accomplish goals. Motivated self-starter who will seek out new work or projects if/when the queue is cleared. Preferred Experiences/Skills Recycling industry 3+ year active working experience in: Autodesk Inventor (preferred) Any other 3D modeling software (SolidEdge, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) Other computer software: Office (Word, Excel), PDF editing, MS Windows, etc. Pre-employment Requirements Background check and drug screening
Job Type:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
