Job Description

Quality Engineer Newark, Delaware | 12-Month Contract | 100% Onsite. This role is 100% onsite in Newark, DE. Saturday availability is mandatory. Candidates without hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience will not be considered. Overview We are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to support our main production line in Newark, Delaware. This role requires someone who can get on the floor, diagnose problems with electro-mechanical devices, and drive quality resolutions quickly. Monday-Saturday availability is required from day one. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electro-mechanical devices on the production floor Lead and conduct Non-Conformance Event (NCE) investigations from initiation through closure Perform containment actions and risk assessments for quality escapes Generate and review rework procedures for non-conforming product Review Device History Records (DHRs) for errors and compliance gaps Provide direct support to production and manufacturing engineering teams Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices (required) Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, aerospace, or similar preferred) Familiarity with
NCE/CAPA
processes and quality management systems Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly procedures Strong attention to detail when reviewing Device History Records Availability to work Saturdays as needed Work Schedule Monday-Saturday | Day Shift | 100% Onsite — No remote or hybrid option
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
