Senior Manager, Equipment Engineering Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Equipment Engineering to lead equipment engineering operations in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for optimizing equipment performance, supporting manufacturing scale-up initiatives, and ensuring production efficiency, quality, and reliability. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership experience in advanced manufacturing or fabrication environments.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage equipment engineering teams to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee equipment performance, maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and process optimization to maximize productivity and reduce downtime. Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and production teams to improve manufacturing readiness and equipment performance. Serve as the escalation point for equipment-related issues and technical decision-making. Monitor and improve KPIs related to equipment reliability, yield, cycle time, uptime, and cost efficiency. Support manufacturing expansion, equipment installation, qualification, and process scale-up efforts. Partner with vendors to support equipment maintenance, spare parts, and service performance.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field); advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in equipment engineering, semiconductor, manufacturing, or advanced production environments. Proven leadership experience managing engineers, maintenance teams, or technical personnel. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with equipment reliability, process improvement, preventive maintenance, and manufacturing performance metrics preferred.Preferred Skills:
