Basic Qualifications Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineer, Robotics or similar.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks and Parametric Modeling
  • Strong understanding of mechatronics and machine design fundamentals.
  • Understanding of industrial controls and how mechanical decision impact the system.
  • System level thinking and understanding.
  • Ability to read and write technical documents.
  • Strong communications skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications Bonus:
  • Experience with Python, C++, or PLC Programming
  • Electrical Controls Experience.
  • Operational environment exposure (Industrial/Manufacturing/Theme Park)
  • Hands on mechatronics projects either personal or professional.

Additional Information Work Schedule Hours:
9 am to 6 pm Flexing Permitted
  • 3rd shifts required based on project needs.
Description/Comment:
We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team working on our mechatronics team. You will own the day-to-day mechanical execution of a mechatronics project and work alongside other engineers who will provide guidance and oversight. Strong candidates will have experience building and designing mechatronic systems and who are self-starters in unstructured work.
Responsibilities:
  • Own mechanical assembly, parts procurement, and system integration.
  • Perform comprehensive testing and validation of mechatronic systems.
  • Read and modify mechanical drawings and assemblies in Solidworks.
  • Create and maintain technical documents and reports including (SOPs, Maintenance Manuals, etc)
  • Take initiative and ownership of mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate clearly with the team and escalating issues when required.
  • Maintain flexible work schedule including third shifts when required.
