Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Staff Responsible Engineer - Fuel Systems with experience in aircraft fuel subsystems development to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL. This position is fully onsite with no remote work available.Key responsibilities may include:
- Performing responsible engineer activities, which include all aspects of fuel subsystem/component design and development including trade studies, layouts, architecture definition, system test verification, and troubleshooting.
- Performing system related analysis, such as performance simulation, in support of the development of the fuel subsystem including integration with other aircraft subsystems.
- System level test planning, execution support, verification, data processing, and troubleshooting.
- System level evaluations to verify requirements and ensure airworthiness criteria are met.
- Attending internal program, customer, and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates.
