Job Description

Ready to take the next step in your engineering career? Ingenuity Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join our growing team in Orlando. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the country while collaborating with experienced engineers who are committed to technical excellence, mentorship, and professional growth. What You'll Do Design and develop HVAC and mechanical building systems for a variety of project types. Perform engineering calculations, load analyses, and system evaluations. Prepare design narratives, technical reports, and construction documents. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, and structural team members. Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client interactions. Review and provide guidance to junior engineering staff. Assist in managing project scope, schedules, and budgets. Support project delivery while maintaining a high level of quality and technical excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program. Experience designing mechanical building systems within an MEP consulting, A/E consulting, or related environment. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam. Strong understanding of HVAC system design and mechanical engineering principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications PE license preferred but not required. EIT certification and candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply. Previous experience mentoring junior staff or leading project tasks.
