Job Description:
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CAE Engineer with strong expertise in FEA and CFD analysis using ANSYS Workbench. The candidate will be responsible for structural, vibration, shock, crashworthiness, and thermal simulations, along with supporting product development, optimization, and validation activities. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and manufacturable product designs. Key Responsibilities Perform and lead FEA and CFD simulations using ANSYS Workbench. Conduct analysis, design iterations, validation testing, and result interpretation for: Vibration Durability Mechanical Shock Crashworthiness Structural and Thermal Engineering Optimize product/system design for cost, performance, weight, thermal efficiency, and manufacturability. Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives to improve manufacturing, assembly, handling, shipping, and recyclability. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams during product development activities. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to cross-functional teams and junior engineers. Support root cause analysis, data acquisition, engineering calculations, and problem-solving activities. Work closely with development and operations teams from concept through design validation and production readiness. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation. Required Skills & Experience 7-8 years of experience in CAE/CFD engineering. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in FEA using ANSYS Workbench.
Strong understanding of:
Structural Analysis Thermal Analysis Vibration & Durability Mechanical Shock & Crash Analysis CFD Simulations Experience in validation testing and correlation of simulation results. Knowledge of DFM principles and product lifecycle considerations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced engineering environment. Preferred Skills Experience in product development and manufacturing support. Exposure to testing, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. Knowledge of automotive, industrial, or heavy engineering applications is preferred.
