Job Description:
Conduct and oversee CAE, FEA, and CFD analysis activities for product development and validation. Perform simulation, validation testing, and result interpretation in areas including vibration durability, mechanical shock, crashworthiness, and structural engineering. Utilize ANSYS Workbench for FEA and CFD simulations. Optimize system designs to balance cost, performance, mass, volume, and thermal efficiency. Implement and support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) practices to improve manufacturing and assembly processes. Ensure component designs support product lifecycle requirements including shipping, handling, disassembly, and recycling. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams during product development activities. Provide technical guidance to cross-functional engineering teams. Solve complex engineering problems through testing, measurements, data acquisition, and analysis. Support engineering development activities from concept phase through design validation and production launch.
Required Skills:
7-8 years of experience in CAE/CFD engineering. Strong expertise in FEA using ANSYS Workbench. Experience in vibration, durability, crashworthiness, thermal, and structural analysis. Knowledge of DFM principles and manufacturing processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional and supplier/customer teams.
Qualification:
MS/MTech in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
