Job Description

The Manufacturing Technology and Facilities Development group, part of the Printpack. Engineering Department, supports Printpack's existing infrastructure through capital projects around plant and machine improvements and creating a more sustainable manufacturing base. Mechanical engineers in the group conceptualize, budget, plan, and execute capital projects, including production machine upgrades, HVAC system replacements, energy conservation projects, building expansions, and a wide range of other improvements. Co-ops start by supporting the project work of staff engineers and are later given project work of their own according to their demonstrated level of skill and knowledge. This opportunity is for the Summer Semester (May 2026
  • August 2026).
Job Description:
Developing mechanical projects that improve productivity, enhance safety, or provide new functionality to our production lines and plants. Researching and defining design standards that ensure consistent equipment and plant configurations and performance. Assist project engineers with management of capital projects including development and maintenance of scope, financial budget, scheduling, and contractor/installation supervision. Creating collaborative internal tools and processes to improve Engineering's effectiveness and productivity. Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
