Loganville, Georgia job type: Permanent salary: $85,000 - 110,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Create and refine detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for uprights, beams, and specialized racking components using design softwarePerform basic structural analysis and load capacity calculations to ensure racking configurations meet seismic and weight-load requirementsCollaborate with the production team to optimize designs for various manufacturing processes to reduce scrap and lead timesDevelop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering change notices (ECNs)Iterate designs based on load testing performance data and failure analysis requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field; equivalent experience to be consideredExperience designing steel pallet racking systems strongly desiredKnowledge of RMI (Rack Manufacturers Institute) or AISI standards for cold-formed steel design highly preferredAdvanced experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and 2D drafting.
