Job Description

Job Description We're seeking a Senior Design Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and contributing to meaningful improvements in products and processes. This role is ideal for someone who values delivering practical, data-driven solutions and contributing to successful project outcomes from concept through implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Manufacturing, and Production, to develop and implement engineering solutions that improve product quality, support efficient manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement. If you enjoy analyzing problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and seeing the impact of your work on products and operations, we'd like to hear from you.
What You Will Do:
Provide engineering support to production by training cross-functional teams on engineering requirements, product functionality, and maintaining product integrity throughout manufacturing processes Analyze and disposition discrepant material based on technical assessment and product function Support engineering projects that reduce non-conformances by clear problem definition, use of proper measurement system and control of process variation Drive engineering changes to improve producibility of legacy products, supported by strong technical substantiation Design and execute test plans to evaluate risk and validate proposed changes Implement corrective actions and monitor effectiveness using objective data Develop, update, and maintain site procedures to support long-term process stability Communicate project progress and results through presentations and by leading technical discussions with senior leadership and customers Liaise with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure seamless transition from Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) through full-rate production Mentor early-career engineers, sharing technical expertise and supporting professional growth
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
