This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge mechanical systems, ensuring they meet rigorous industry standards and client specifications. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in system design, analysis, and manufacturing processes, driving excellence from concept through production. Your expertise will help shape the future of our engineering solutions while fostering a collaborative and energetic work environment. Duties Lead the mechanical design process using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo, creating detailed schematics, drawings, and 3D models aligned with project requirements. Conduct comprehensive mechanical analysis including FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to validate designs under operational loads and conditions. Develop and review system schematics, mechanical drawings, and drafting documentation adhering to ASME codes & standards. Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues, implementing corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency. Manage project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of design milestones while coordinating cross-disciplinary teams for seamless integration. Utilize tools like MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, and Arduino for system modeling, simulation, and control development in complex engineering projects. Oversee manufacturing processes including CNC machining, prototyping, and testing to verify design integrity and manufacturability. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in mechanical components. Collaborate with system engineers to develop integrated solutions involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), quantum engineering concepts, and advanced automation techniques. Experience Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of five years in product design, system development, or manufacturing environments. Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles including mechanical design, drafting, schematics creation, and CAD modeling using SolidWorks or Creo. Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, root cause analysis, and applying ASME codes & standards within complex projects. Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and FEA software for structural analysis. Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes including CNC machining, prototyping, and quality assurance testing. Proficiency in using LabVIEW for data acquisition and control systems development; experience with Arduino is a plus. Strong understanding of mechanical systems integration involving system design considerations for automation or quantum engineering applications. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple projects efficiently.
