$70,000 - $90,000 annually, DOE A Honolulu-based construction company is seeking a Project Engineer to support mechanical construction projects throughout Oʻahu . This role is a strong fit for someone early in their construction career who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in growing into project management. The Project Engineer will support project teams with coordination, documentation, scheduling support, procurement tracking, and communication between office and field teams. Responsibilities Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting notes, and project documentation Coordinate with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments Track materials, equipment, procurement items, and project deadlines Help maintain project schedules, logs, reports, and closeout documents Review plans, specifications, and project requirements Participate in jobsite meetings and progress updates as needed Support quality, safety, and compliance documentation Qualifications 1+ year of construction experience preferred Mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, or sheet metal experience is a plus Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office required Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software preferred Local Hawaiʻi construction experience is a plus Benefits Competitive compensation Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Long-term growth opportunity Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow into project management
