Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new products and technologies. This role requires a strong background in agriculture, engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The R&D Engineer will play a crucial role in advancing our projects from concept to prototype, ensuring that all designs meet quality and performance standards. Products we currently sell, manufacture, and customize include: Drag toolbars and tank toolbars for any make or model Tank tool bars Row units Even-flow distributors Counter King swivels Complete manure injection systems Hoses and fittings Accessories for dragline and tank applications High gallon injector Manure Tanks Manure Spreaders Complete Strip-Till Units Strip-Till Caddies Duties Design and develop new products using CAD software, including SolidWorks and other engineering tools. R&D assembly (Welding, Testing, Production) Create assemblies from raw materials or parts Create drawings for mechanical components and assemblies Fabricate prototypes and conduct experiments to validate designs. Develop test methods and perform quality audits on products or assemblies. Create and interpret schematics for hydraulic components and systems. Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices to ensure precise manufacturing specifications. Engage in engineering projects, applying cutting-edge technology to create innovative solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product designs based on testing feedback. Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Farm or AG backgrounds are a plus. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is essential. Experience with fabrication techniques welding, cutting with torches or grinders and prototyping processes. Exposure to engineering concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
