Quality/Test Engineer

LOCATION
Mossville, IL (Local candidates preferred) Job Summary We are seeking a Quality/Test Engineer to support product quality and performance across construction equipment systems, including electronics, software, and mechanical components. This role is a hands-on troubleshooting + product support position, where you'll work directly with real-world equipment issues coming from dealers and the field. You'll be responsible for diagnosing problems, testing system performance, and helping drive improvements in product quality and reliability. Ideal candidates have strong electrical troubleshooting experience, are comfortable working with tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes, and can clearly communicate technical findings to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Investigate and troubleshoot electrical, software, and system-level issues Work with dealers to resolve product quality concerns and technical inquiries Develop and execute testing procedures to evaluate product performance Analyze quality data to identify trends and recurring issues Use tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software Support validation and accuracy of testing and measurement equipment Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and improve products Document findings, support quality standards, and contribute to training materials Required Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in quality, testing, or troubleshooting roles Bachelor's degree in engineering OR strong technician background Experience with electrical troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Technical writing experience Data analysis / Six Sigma experience Experience with scripting or macros Work Environment Collaborative Product Support team Mix of desk work and hands-on troubleshooting Direct interaction with dealers and engineering teams Fast-paced environment focused on customer success and product quality If you or someone you know is interested, APPLY TODAY! #LI-RG1 #INDOEM
