Job Description

Mechanical Product Development Engineer responsible for capital equipment product development, technical project leadership, product roadmapping, and mechanical system standardization. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 1-2 years of engineering experience in capital equipment, industrial machinery, or related mechanical systems Entry-level mechanical engineering experience considered Experience leading technical projects from concept through launch Working knowledge of Creo software Working knowledge of Windchill data management environments Experience with structural steel design and weldments Experience with industrial motion systems Experience with mechanical power transmission systems Experience supporting product development for machinery or equipment platforms Preferred Skills Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering Structural analysis experience FEA experience Hydraulic system design experience Experience with servo motor and drive applications PLC integration exposure Experience with robotic systems Experience with welding automation systems Lean product development experience Experience managing cross-functional teams Leadership experience in engineering or product development environments Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain a 3-5-year product roadmap for mechanical equipment platforms Identify emerging technologies in motion control, automation, hydraulics, and structural systems Lead new product platform development initiatives from concept through launch Standardize core modules across product lines, including drives, frames, controls, and related systems Support mechanical design activities for capital equipment and industrial machinery Apply Creo and Windchill to support design development, revision control, and product documentation Develop mechanical designs involving structural steel, weldments, industrial motion, and power transmission systems Evaluate structural, hydraulic, automation, and motion control options for product development Support product platform planning, technical reviews, and design decisions Collaborate with leadership on investment prioritization and ROI analysis Coordinate technical input across engineering, manufacturing, controls, and product teams Support continuous improvement and standardization of product development processes
Pay:
