In this role, you will take ownership of designing and delivering HVAC systems for a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities, contributing from early concept through final implementation. This is an opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative mechanical solutions to life. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive HVAC system layouts and detailed technical specifications for industrial and commercial facilities Perform thermal load calculations using Trace or similar industry-standard software Size and select mechanical equipment, including ductwork and piping systems for air and fluid distribution Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to integrate specialized equipment into custom designs Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate existing infrastructure and inform engineering decisions Contribute to project strategy by refining and optimizing system designs throughout all project phases Produce and validate engineering calculations, reports, and supporting documentation Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams using Revit and Navisworks to resolve design conflicts and ensure constructability Partner with fabrication and installation teams to maintain design integrity through project completion Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 4+ years of experience in mechanical/HVAC system design Advanced proficiency in Revit for modeling and coordination Strong understanding of HVAC systems, load calculations, and mechanical design principles Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Experience designing systems for large-scale manufacturing or corporate facilities Background working within an engineering consulting firm Experience with educational or hospitality infrastructure projects Familiarity with Navisworks and clash detection workflows
