Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer We are adding a Mechanical Engineer II to our team in Lafayette, Indiana! Responsibilities Create engine models with 3D models for 5-10 projects. Document BOM changes to the engine. Communicate changes to the engine price list. Audit engines to ensure they are buildable and resolve any issues found. Manage validation material requirements, procure parts, and coordinate shipping to the field. Essential Skills Mechanical/Engine knowledge in engines, automative, or farm equipment Excellent and strong communication Mechcanical design Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or similiar are of focus) Mechanical design experience Proficiency in CREO/3D CAD and Teamcenter Visualization (preferred by not required) Good communication skills Ability to work well in a collaborative team Work Environment This position is onsite in Lafayette, with working hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.65/hr.
