ENTRY-LEVEL ENGINEER
•This position is designed for recent graduates and early-career engineers looking to develop into Manufacturing Engineers, Automation, Estimating, Quality or various Lead/Management Roles We are seeking an Entry-Level Engineer to join our Engineering Team in a high-mix / low-volume manufacturing environment. A successful Entry-Level Engineer at WEBCO will be both an analytical problem solver and detail-oriented team member , supporting manufacturing through drafting, process development, product planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take ownership of projects while working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.

Processes Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn manufacturing processes, quality systems, and engineering best practices
Preferred:
Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Internship, co-op, or hands-on manufacturing experience Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, or assembly processes Basic understanding of GD&T and engineering documentation Experience with ERP systems, BOMs, and routings Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, or Six Sigma concepts
Job Duties:
Create and maintain 3D models, fabrication drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Generate accurate shop drawings and manufacturing prints for production Support BOM creation, routing development, and manufacturing documentation Execute Revision-to-Print (RTP) management and engineering change implementation Assist with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities Support fixture, tooling, and process development projects Assist production teams with troubleshooting and problem solving Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, and continuous improvement methodologies Maintain high quality and accuracy standards in all engineering documentation Support manufacturing process improvements related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost Develop skills in manufacturing engineering, automation, quality systems, and project management
