In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge mechanical systems and components, transforming concepts into tangible solutions that drive technological advancement. Your expertise will contribute to the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical devices, ensuring they meet rigorous standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your professional horizons in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability Create comprehensive schematics and technical drawings aligned with industry standards, including ASME codes & standards Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to validate design integrity under various operational conditions Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures, identifying issues and implementing effective corrective actions Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate system design elements, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink, and Arduino-based systems Support manufacturing processes by providing drafting support, manufacturing instructions, and troubleshooting during CNC machining or other fabrication activities Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure precise component specifications and quality control Utilize system design methodologies to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges in quantum engineering or related fields Engage in project scheduling to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards across all phases of design development Skills Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 4-5 years of experience in mechanical design. Proficiency in CATIA (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting). Basic understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and material selection. Familiarity with engineering drawing standards. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities
